Mark Thomas – Ticketed Livestream Production

Aggravated! with Mark Thomas — Ticketed Livestream Production

Aggravated! with Mark Thomas was a live event produced by Netpol in collaboration with LUSH, marking Aggravated Activist Day and exploring protest, policing and the increasing restrictions placed on political dissent.

The event took place at the Museum of Comedy in Bloomsbury, London, with comedian and campaigner Mark Thomas appearing alongside Netpol speakers for an hour of discussion and dissident comedy.

I provided the onsite multicamera livestream production, managing cameras, audio, graphics and the live programme output. The broadcast was delivered directly to LUSH’s YouTube channel, with access provided to ticket holders through an unlisted stream.

Because the programme was intended purely as a live experience, there was no post-production requirement. The technical workflow was therefore designed around producing a complete finished programme in real time, including camera switching, titles and start/end slates, while ensuring reliable delivery to LUSH’s large online platform.

The project brought together an activist organisation, a major consumer brand and a live performance venue, requiring a professional broadcast workflow that could operate unobtrusively within the event while delivering the programme directly to its remote audience.
