MHMG Habitats & Biodiversity Symposium — Multicamera Livestream Production
The MHMG Habitats & Biodiversity Symposium 2025 brought together speakers and audiences for a full day of talks exploring habitats, biodiversity and conservation.
I provided the technical production and livestreaming for the event, creating a broadcast that allowed people unable to attend in person to watch the symposium live online.
The production used a three-camera setup, covering the speakers, stage and audience, alongside presentation feeds, dedicated microphones and room audio. I vision mixed the programme live in vMix, combining cameras, presentations and graphics into a finished broadcast as the event happened.
Custom graphics were created for the stream, including speaker information, programme schedules, holding screens and “up next” graphics for breaks between sessions. The production also incorporated audience questions and presentation material while maintaining a continuous programme throughout the day.
Because the venue was primarily designed for in-person events rather than broadcasting, the technical workflow also involved integrating with the existing projector, PA and presentation systems while independently capturing the audio and video required for the livestream.
The result was a professional online version of the symposium that extended the event beyond the capacity of the physical venue and provided an accessible way for a wider audience to take part.
